1. Information We Collect

When you use Kundax Color, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Apple.
  • Photos: The images you upload to create your coloring book. These are stored securely and used solely for generating your coloring pages via AI image processing.
  • Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card details on our servers.
  • Shipping address: Only collected when you order a physical book, and used solely for fulfillment by our print partner, Lulu Direct.
  • Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically to operate and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Photos

We understand the sensitivity of family photos, especially those of children. Here is exactly what we do with your photos:

  • Your photos are used exclusively to generate your coloring book pages using AI image processing (OpenAI).
  • We never share, sell, license, or use your photos for any other purpose.
  • We never use your photos to train AI models.
  • Photos are stored using encrypted cloud storage with strict access controls.
  • Photos are automatically deleted 30 days after your book is generated.
  • You can request immediate deletion of your photos at any time by contacting us.

3. AI Image Processing

Kundax Color uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI's image generation API) to transform your uploaded photos into coloring page artwork. By uploading photos and requesting generation, you consent to your photos being processed by this AI system for the sole purpose of creating your coloring book.

The AI processes your images to identify faces, subjects, and visual composition in order to render them as line-art coloring pages. No biometric data is stored from this analysis. Generated coloring pages are stored in your account and available for download or print according to the product you purchased.

OpenAI's data handling for API customers is governed by OpenAI's API data usage policies, which provide that API inputs are not used to train models.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your account data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and data storage
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • OpenAI: AI image processing to generate coloring pages from your photos
  • Lulu Direct: Physical book printing and fulfillment
  • Resend: Transactional email (order confirmations)

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use two categories of cookies and tracking technologies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication and maintaining your session. These cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.
  • Analytics and advertising pixels: We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads conversion tracking, and TikTok Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and understand how visitors find and use our site. These technologies may set cookies on your device and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data helps us improve our products and advertising.

We also share purchase event data with these advertising platforms via server-to-server (Conversions API) calls to improve ad measurement. This data is hashed and sent securely. No raw credit card or financial data is shared.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Request immediate deletion of uploaded photos
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Opt out of advertising tracking (see Section 6)

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for use by adults. While our product creates coloring books that may feature children (uploaded by a parent or guardian), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data to us without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
