Free shipping on every printed book

Shipping is included in the price of every printed book and bundle. There is nothing extra to pay at checkout. Digital PDFs are delivered online, so nothing ships.

Where your book is printed

Every book is printed to order by our printing partner, Lulu Direct. Lulu sends each order to the print facility in its network closest to the delivery address, so books going to US addresses are normally printed in the United States. If that facility can't take the order, Lulu may print it at another of its facilities.

How long it takes

Every book is printed to order. Printing takes 3–5 business days after you finalize your book, and delivery to a US address takes another 5–10 business days, so most books arrive about 8–15 business days after you finalize.

The clock starts when you finalize your book in the Review step after checkout. Until then nothing is sent to print. Business days are Monday to Friday. These are estimates, not guarantees: carrier delays, public holidays and the December rush can add time, so for a gift with a deadline, order early.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US territories: mail delivery takes at least 14 days after printing. Because books go by mail, P.O. box addresses work too.

International shipping

Besides the United States, we ship printed books to Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Shipping is free to all of them. International mail can take up to 28 days after printing, and customs processing can add time.

Tracking

We'll email you as soon as your book ships, with a tracking link whenever one is available. Books are sent by mail, and mail tracking isn't available for every shipment. If tracking becomes available later, you'll find it on your order page in your dashboard.

Address problems

We try to verify your shipping address with our print partner before you pay, but please double-check it yourself, including the apartment or unit number. The address can't be changed once your book is in production.

Spotted a mistake? Contact us right away. If your book hasn't gone into production yet, you can also cancel the order from your order page for a full refund and place it again with the right address. If a package is returned as undeliverable, we'll get in touch to sort out the next step.

Lost or damaged packages

If your book arrives damaged, we'll reprint and reship it at no charge. Contact us within 14 days of delivery. If your book hasn't arrived by the end of its estimated delivery window (for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other US territories and international addresses, 28 days after it ships), contact us with your order number and we'll work with our print partner to find it or send a replacement at no charge.
